On the occasion of the International Day of Holocaust Remembrance, the Consulate General of Greece in New York invited people to its annual event: “Holocaust Remembrance Day of the Greek Jewry”, meeting the commitment to fight racism, antisemitism, sexism, and injustice is as vital today as it has ever been. Keynote Speaker was the U.S. Ambassador Eleni Kounalakis.
As part of a global commemoration of the Holocaust, on this important day, the event payed tribute to the tens of thousands of Greek Jewish victims of the Holocaust. As well as the families and legacies that were affected along the way.
