    Volunteer Program

The Jewish Museum of Greece has been using the help of volunteers since its early days. Volunteers with special knowledge or skills have carried out several tasks for the Museum, such as organising its services, cleaning and restoring artefacts, translating texts, receiving visitors and managing its library. Volunteers have also helped in organising and hosting several of the Museum’s activities, supporting the staff with their presence and assistance.

Furthermore, students of various disciplines have offered the Museum their services, seeking to expand their knowledge and gain experience by working for a culturally productive institution. The J.M.G. issues Voluntary Service Certificates whenever required.

The Museum has designed a special programme for the orientation and training of new volunteers, and always looks for people of any age and background who may want to assist in its work.
