On Monday 16 December 2019, students of the Department of Science and International Relations visited the Jewish Museum of Greece in the framework of the course “Global Dispersal” taught by Professor Ms. Vassiliki Lalagiannis. The Museum Educator Orietta Treveza offered them a tour though the permanent and temporary exhibition, and discussed topics of interest to them such as the diaspora routes of the Greek Jews, the experiences of Holocaust survivors (letters, photographs and journals), the participation of the Greek Jews in the National Resistance and the “Righteous of the Nations”. At the end of the tour, Ms. Treveza offered, on behalf of the Museum, audio-visual material to PEDIS on issues of the Jewish diaspora, the Holocaust and the National Resistance against the Germans.
