On Sunday 24th March, in the framework of the celebrations for Pesach (Passover) and Easter, the Jewish Museum of Greece offered to families an educational program, free of charge- entitled: “Easter and Pessach”. The aim of this program, which was created with the cooperation of the Hellenic Children’s Museum, is to offer the chance to parents and children to find out about the Jewish Passover, and by comparing it with the Christian Orthodox Easter to discover similarities and differences. It is a matter of crucial importance nowadays, since the children can – by learning about traditions other than their own, in this case the Jewish religion of their compatriots – learn how to respect and appreciate difference.
