“Apple with honey for a sweet Νew Υear”
On Sunday 18th September 2016, in the framework of its participation at the common activity organized by the members of the Network of Museums and Cultural Institutions of Athens, the Jewish Museum of Greece will offer for free an educational program for families with children aged between 6 to 12 years old, in groups of maximum 15-20 people, entitled: “Apple with honey for a sweet New Year”.
Αim of the programme is for the children and their families to familiarize themselves with the Jewish New Year, “Rosh Hashanah”, that this year will be celebrated on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th October 2016. The participants will have the opportunity to familiarizes themselves with the customs and traditions which accompany it, to collaborate, learn, discover and compare the similarities and differences of customs and traditions of other peoples and religions, through audio-visual material, games, activities and recipes.
