On the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day,on 27th January, and in the context of teaching History and Art, the students of the2nd Junior High School of Ilioupoli worked on a cross-thematic project on “The fate of Greek Jewish communities”.

The work was presented at the 20th Seminar “Teaching about the Holocaust” conducted by the JMG in collaboration with Mémorial de la Shoah, in Athens, in March 2017.

The students’ works were wholeheartedly devoted to the JMG, where they were placed by the children themselves and were be hosted “In Memory”, on the occasion of the Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah), 23rd April 2017.

On Sunday, 30th April, the young artists and their families have been invited to the museum to visit the facility, while the JMG offered a special educational programme for families.
