The second level marks the beginning part of the Museum that is devoted to history, covering the long period from the 3rd century B.C.E. until the end of WW II. The first display examines the history of the Greek Jewish communities from the late antiquity until the end of the 19th century, using archaeological material, old documents, historic manuscripts and significant publications. The same level contains displays on the participation of Jewish officers and soldiers in the struggles of the Greek State, as well as the history of the early Zionist movement in Greece.
