With the support of the French Institute in Skopje and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs, the Jewish Museum of Greece, the Memorial de la Shoah in Paris and the Holocaust Center for the Jews of Macedonia in Skopje organized an educational seminar for 40 teachers mainly from Skopje and Thessaloniki. The seminar focused on the Holocaust, not only as a historical fact, but also as a starting point. Comparisons were made between different communities during the Second World War, but also between different genocides and other crimes against humanity. On behalf of the JMG, Alexandra Patrikiou prepared two workshops; one focusing on the use of fiction films in Holocaust Education and one focusing on death camps and specifically Treblinka.
