- On 13th-17th June the JMG, as member of the Greek Delegation, took part in the annual meeting of the International Task Force for Holocaust Education Remembrance and Research in Linz, Austria.
- On 20th June , the museum Eduacator participated at the event organised by the department of CECA (Committee of Education and Cultural Action) of ICOM (International Council of Museums), on the presentation of the museum cases that were realised in the museums during the years 2007 – 2008, where she presented the new educational programs of the JMG.
- On 7-12 July, a course for teachers working in Greece took place at the Yad Vashem Foundation in Jerusalem. The subject of the course was teaching the Holocaust at schools in Greece. The course lasted seven days and was conducted under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs. Ten teachers from all over Greece took part and were accompanied by JMG Museum Educator Orietta Treveza-Sousi.
- On 22nd-25th November saw the annual conference of the Association of European Jewish Museums (ΑEJM), hosted this year in Amsterdam.
- Participation of the Museum Educator at the 12th meeting “Education and Modern Greek Cultural Heritage” organised in collaboration with the Hellenic National Committee of ICOM.
