The Jewish Community of Athens has two cemeteries, the first of which is adjacent to the old, historic 1st Athens Cemetery, not far from the centre of the city. This is not in use any more.
The second is adjacent to the 3rd Cemetery of Athens, to the Southwest of the city centre, accessible via Petrou Ralli, or Thivon Avenues.
The latter was vandalised with anti-Semitic graffiti in the year 2000.
