On Sunday 28th September 2014, the Jewish Museum of Greece in the framework of its participation at the country-wide activity of the Ministry of Culture and Sports European Heritage Days 2014 entitled: “Faces of Time”, offered free admission and an educational program for adults and families on Sunday 28th September 2014 (11:00 – 12:00) entitled: «The Cycle of Life». 15 adults and children participated and enjoyed the presentations of the traditional rites of passage the Jewish Religion, from birth to name-giving, to coming of age, to wedding and death. The participants had positive impressions and some of them shared their queries and thoughts. Most of them expressed their pleasure in participating at the program, on having the chance of visiting the museum and its temporary exhibitions while familiarizing themselves with customs, traditions and historical facts that they were unaware of.
