Fifth Level / Costumes

In the next, fifth level, traditional costumes are exhibited from Romaniote and Sephardic communities of Greece.

Festive and wedding outfits of the Sephadric women of Thessalonica and the Romaniote ones of Ioannina, as well as items of clothing, shoes and several items of jewellery, paint a vivid picture of the way the members of the Greek Jewish communities used to dress.

Etchings, watercolours, and photographs complete the display.
