On Sunday, October 10th, 2010, the Museum held an educational course for women on “the mikveh: ritual bath”. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the role of water in the female practices of the Jewish religion, through selected rare objects from the permanent collection of the Jewish Museum of Greece. The program was created for the purposes of a common event of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism together with institutions that deal withCultural Heritage entitled:“Environment and Culture 2010, A Myriad Voices of Water”.
