The first webinar for Greek Teachers was held from Tuesday 7 to Friday 10 July 2020, organized by the International School for Holocaust Studies of Yad Vashem, in cooperation with the Jewish Museum of Greece.
Yad Vashem, The Holocaust Martyrs ’and Heroes’ Remembrance Authority, conducts seven-day training seminars in Israel aimed exclusively at active educators. This year, the unprecedented period of confinement due to the global pandemic threat, overset our daily routines and canceled established events, such as the planned annual seminar in Yad Vashem. Nevertheless, trying to update the mode of our lives and work, we promoted the webinar, which took place through the zoom platform. The daily lectures lasted about an hour and a half and were attended by 18 teachers from all over Greece.
